I made this for lunch today! Completely raw and absolutely delicious!!! The best part? It's so simple to make. Plus, this recipes is packed with nutrient dense foods: carrots, tomatoes & ginger.
Recipe inspiration goes to: ChoosingRaw.com
The great thing about making your own tomato soup is you can completely skip the preservatives which are bad for you anyways. I'd say this recipe could serves 2-3 people. :)
Juicing was on the list today. :) My sister is so good at keeping up with this- you go girl!
Breakfast this morning was made 1/2 a banana, spinach, water, ice, hemp seeds, psyllium powder (fiber) and chocolate protein powder. Yummy!
The girls and I had another performance Thursday evening. So fun!
This was backstage prep w/ Mrs. Howie.
This is really neat!!! The lady to the left of this pic was 16 yrs old when WWII started and her dad was a full colonel. Because of this, she got to travel with her father to Philadelphia to see the original debut of This is the Army, Mr. Jones and meet Irving Berlin at a military event prior to the show! How outlandish, incredibly amazing is THAT!!!!
They had a beautiful spread of hors dourves at this event. :P
After a performance I can really eat! Especially since I tend to eat light the whole day before. For dinner, we went out and I ordered an Asian plate of pan-seared tuna (so basically raw :) w/ green soba noodles. Aah-ha! Yeah- it was amazing!!!!!!!!! It tasted like it had some kind of hot tahini sauce on it, too. :)
It's mid-afternoon now and I'm off to do a short workout and some stretching, plus check a few more things off the list before the week's over. Early next week I will be announcing 3 winners for the Perfect Fit protein powder giveaway. Sign-up, if you haven't already!
So, how 'bout you- do you like it raw?
