Quick / Easy Snack Option

A freshly chilled, crisp apple is one of my favorite snacks! Sprinkle a little ground cinnamon on there and it's nearly heaven. :-)

This is one of the simplest snacks to throw together and it's so healthy for you!

Apples are a great source of natural fiber. If you eat one 30 minutes before dinner you will eat less and leave the dinner table feeling satisfied without overeating. The reason for this is the fiber expands in your stomach so you don't need as much food. :)

Cinnamon is one of my favorite spices because it helps to regulate blood sugar which is why it's great paired with a sugary fruit like an apple!

All natural! Enjoy. :)

What's your favorite fruit?

Have you ever tried apple slices w/ ground cinnamon?

Do you like PB on your apples? :)

  3. My favorite fruit is either apples or bananas. Or maybe berries. I love lots of fruits. I've had cooked apples with cinnamon (microwave for like 2 minutes), but never raw. I do love that for 80 calories you get a great snack that fills you up!

I'd love a visit to my new weight loss blog. It's a work in progress (as is my weight loss).

  5. That looks so good, I like to have an apple almost every day, usually paired with greek yogurt, cheese or peanut butter. I've never thought to sprinkle cinnamon on a raw apple, usually I think of that for cooked apple dishes but that looks yummy!

  6. I don't like raw apples. The peel is what I really don't like. But I would try this. :) Oh. Try Penzey's Vietnamese Cinnamon on them. It's wonderfully sweet. I use it to bake with. So yummy! Thanx for the info about apples. Good to know.
